The app used to run protocols, iCare-PEMF, is free to use for the first 3 weeks after activation. Thereafter, it costs $15 payable directly in the app.

Important: this device uses a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Please note whether you need the lightning port adapter or USB-C adapter. 

How to use iCare

  • Running Protocols

    • Tap the protocol you want to run

    • You’ll see the intro protocol screen

    • Wait 1:00 or less for the frequencies to generate in a chosen protocol

    • Select "Run"

    • Agree to precautions by clicking "Begin Now"

  • Troubleshooting

    • If you hear a frequency when a protocol is running, reconnect device to your phone

    • Don't see a protocol?

      • Select "New"

      • Check for shared protocols

      • Download by clicking the blue button

      • Close app, reopen app and new protocols should appear

    • The volume on your phone/iPad controls the amplitude, or size of magnetic field, that's being created - volume up for more intensity, volume down for less intensity

  • Extras

    • In every specific protocol there are 2 frequency pairs. While a specific frequency pair is running, you can click the Thumbs Up button to get an extra minute of that frequency pair, or Thumbs Down to skip it

    • You can create protocol groups to run one right after another (i.e. while you sleep)

  • PEMF, Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy, is a non-invasive technique that uses electromagnetic fields to support overall wellness. It involves applying magnetic fields to the body to stimulate cells, which may promote healing and overall health.

  • iCare is powered by technology that you already carry around with you everyday - your phone! Simply plug in the iCare to your phone or tablet, open the app, and select the protocol that you would like to run.

  • $999. Your initial purchase includes the iCare PEMF device, pad, and adapter.

  • You can run two protocols simultaneously by loading one in the Resources tab and playing another from the Personal Protocols tab.

  • You can order as many protocols as you would like. After your first 10, they cost $19-$49 each.

  • The app is initially 140 MB, but might expand to 400 MB or more based on the complexity of your unique protocols.

  • To use the iCare app, we will need to activate it for you. Once activated, your first 3 weeks of use is free, then you’ll need to subscribe for $15/month via the app's Resources Tab using a credit card. This payment goes directly to the app developer.

  • Yes. Cancel anytime by following the instructions in the app. Reactivate anytime and your customized protocols will reappear for use.

  • No. The iCare device is non-returnable and non-refundable.

  • Yes! All protocols are available for any iCare customer, even if you didn't buy the device from us.

  • As often as you like! Note that some protocols are better used sparingly. We will help guide you if required.

  • iCare allows unlimited creation of "Groups" for this purpose, easily changeable and modifiable as needed.

  • iCare relies on your phone's audio, so incoming calls or music pauses the protocol. To avoid interruptions, use Airplane Mode.

  • There are a few contraindications. They include:

    Pregnancy: As there's insufficient data on the effects of PEMF on pregnancy, it's typically avoided.

    People with implants: Those with certain implants like pacemakers, defibrillators, cochlear implants, or other electronic devices may be at risk of interference.

    Active cancer: There's concern that PEMF could potentially stimulate the growth of certain cancers, so it's avoided in individuals with active cancer.

    Acute illness or fever: PEMF might increase circulation and could potentially worsen conditions associated with increased blood flow.

    Epilepsy or history of seizures: Some studies suggest that PEMF could trigger seizures in susceptible individuals.

    Organ transplant recipients: Due to the possibility of affecting the immune system and medications, caution is advised.

  • The strongest electromagnetic field extends about 6 inches, but it reaches up to 11 feet from the pad. The farther away, the weaker the signal.

  • Usually directly over the area you’re treating, but you can also put it under your pillow while you sleep.

  • Common positive responses to the frequencies include feeling relaxed, a sense of well-being, reduced pain, sleepiness, warmth, tingling. You may not feel anything immediately, but notice positive effects in the days after treatment.

  • A dongle is an adapter that will connect a lightning AUX to a standard headphone jack. The lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter lets you connect devices with an audio jack, like iCare, to a lightning port. iPhone 5 and newer have a lightening port, as do almost all other Apple devices.

  • No. iCare isn't covered by insurance as it's considered a wellness device, not a medical one, and therefore doesn't have a CPT code for insurance billing.
